Yesterday, the Raby Construction team had the honor of spending a morning volunteering at Project Host, an organization making a profound impact in the Greenville community. We rolled up our sleeves in the garden and helped prep food for their lunch service —a small part of their incredible mission to use food as a tool to nourish the hungry and train the unemployed. Project Host tackles food insecurity in our area by feeding the hungry, educating and training the un- and underemployed, and fostering a thriving community through social enterprise. At the heart of it all is the belief that food is more than sustenance—it’s the foundation for health, growth, and opportunity. For the Raby team, supporting Project Host is about more than giving back; it’s about standing with an organization that strengthens our community and creates pathways for a brighter future. Meet Cesar: The Heart of Raby Construction Operations ?? Behind the seamless execution of our projects stands Cesar, our VP of Construction Operations. With his Midwest roots and lessons learned from a father who was a proud union welder, Cesar embodies structure, reliability, and an unmatched work ethic. Although we've yet to catch him welding, his skills are legendary within Raby. Cesar's passion for live music, especially from the hidden gem of Put-in-Bay, Ohio, shapes his stories and adventures. From witnessing Keith Urban live to reconnecting with old friends over outlaw country tunes, his love for music is profound. And yes, “Soulshine” by the Allman Brothers is his anthem. Beyond his professional prowess, get to know Cesar: A "Goodfellas" aficionado for its timeless take on loyalty and respect. Unconventionally, finds Dial Antibacterial Soap as his scent of choice. Prefers an IPA over any snack – that's Cesar for you. Since 2010, Cesar's leadership and dedication have been invaluable to Raby Construction. We raise an IPA to him, with “Save Me” by Jelly Roll setting the mood. Here's to Cesar, making Raby Construction a bit more harmonious.

Meet Jennifer Hernandez, our Project Administrator since 2020! Balancing project management and accounting, Jennifer's organizational prowess is vital. A civil engineering graduate from USC, she joined us during the pandemic, showcasing resilience and gaining practical experience. Jennifer's role is diverse—her bilingual skills enhance team communication, and as a Greenville native, she brings community spirit. Known for precise takeoffs, she excels in construction planning. Beyond work, Jennifer adds vibrancy with creative nails, a love for reading, and a Lego enthusiast. With a french bulldog, Simon, by her side, Jennifer embodies dedication and joy. Her technical expertise, administrative finesse, and personal flair make her a key asset to Raby Construction.
