Sunday evening at The Jones Center was a breathtaking celebration of cultures as two traditions intertwined in a way we’ve never seen before! ? Highlights from the House Concert: ?? Dr. Athira Omanakuttan mesmerized with the grace of Mohiniyattam, while Arlynda Jonas brought the vibrant rhythms of Pacific Island dance to life. ?? The Showstopper Moment: The two artists stepped beyond their traditions and performed each other’s dance styles together, showcasing a beautiful exchange of art and culture that left the audience in awe. The fusion of Mohiniyattam and Pacific Island dance symbolized the unifying power of art, bridging traditions and inspiring connections.
