  • R3 Teammates attended the Mt Soledad National Veterans Memorial 4th Annual Women's History Tribute and Brunch on March 20th. R3 proudly sponsored the brunch that honored the remarkable contributions of women in our nation's military service -- past and present. The event also coincided with Women’s History Month. This year's event paid special recognition to women in the U.S. Air Force and honored LtCol Evelyn Jean Wright, USAF (Ret.), a distinguished Flight Nurse who transported patients across the Pacific during the Korea and Vietnam Wars. Colonel Wright also pioneered the first advanced military obstetrical nursing course and served as a Consultant in Maternal Nursing to the Surgeon General. Keanna Spencer, Martha C. Vasquez, CPA

  • As part of our ongoing commitment to the Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF), we are honored to be named a Diamond Sponsor of the 7th Annual NSOF Benefit Gala at the Marriott Resort Virginia Beach Oceanfront on June 28, 2025. This formal, black-tie event celebrates the laurels of the Navy Special Operations community and raises funds for the sole organization exclusively serving this remarkable community of heroes! At R3 Strategic Support Group, we have firsthand experience of the sacrifices the men and women of the Navy Special Operations community make and understand the challenges they and their families face. That’s why we are proud to support the NSOF and have representative corporate membership on its Advisory Board. The NSOF’s mission is to ensure our Navy Special Operations operators, and their families, are provided with all the tools necessary to overcome any challenges they may face and let them know they are never alone in the fight. We encourage everyone to learn more about the NSOF and the vital work it does for our military community at www.nsof.org.

  • R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. Teammates recently gathered to recognize our 15-year anniversary. Some of our most “seasoned” teammates who have been with us from year 1 (Andrew Bradley, Randy Bradford, Ken Normand and Marc Tranchemontagne) joined virtually from across the country to share some great sea-stories about our early days. We are incredibly proud of our history and honored and privileged that we have opportunities to continue providing a wide-range of service support — including training, logistics, maintenance, commodity management, technical expertise, and professional services — that contribute to the operational readiness and combat effectiveness of our Nation’s great service men and women. We’ve had over 570 total employees in the last 15 years, became employee-owned, have supported over 100 separate contracts for more than 25 commands, and expanded our philanthropic support to 9 separate charities. Thank you to all our teaming partners and professional advisors! #NavyEOD #NECC #MESG #NavyDiver #Seabees

Please join us in honoring and remembering two of our brave NSO warriors, ND1 James E. Reyher and ND2 Ryan P. Harris, who were killed in training on this day, February 26, 2013 in Aberdeen, MD. ND1 Reyher and ND2 Harris’ names are engraved on the Navy Special Operations Memorial Pillars alongside their Navy DeepSea Diver brothers, who were killed in the performance of their duties. ND1 JAMES E. REYHER ND1 Reyher enlisted in the Navy, answering the call to serve in May 2008, completing Navy Diver Second Class School the following year. He served in Everett, WA, from 2009 to 2012 and reached the rank of Navy Diver First Class Petty Officer in 2013. ND1 Reyher was assigned to multiple diving operations, was a renowned Battle Damage Repair team member, and deployed to US Pacific Command, where he trained Royal Thai Navy Divers on surface-supplied diving operations. In April of 2012, James transferred to MDSU2 in Virginia Beach, where he qualified as a Diving Salvage Warfare Specialist and was an integral member of the U1105 Naval Archeology mission in Milwaukee, WI. ND1 James E. Reyher's awards and decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (two awards), the Navy Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation - All of which are a testament to his skill and dedication to his country. ND2 RYAN P. HARRIS ND2 Harris answered the call to serve in June 2007. He successfully completed dive training and was designated a Navy Diver in April 2008. ND2 Harris served at Navy Submarine Support Facility in New London, CT, from 2008 to 2011 before reporting to MSDU-2 in June 2011. Ryan's bravery resulted in numerous awards, including the Navy and Marine Corps Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal (two Awards), the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terror Service Medal. “Ryan and James epitomized the unsung hero persona of the Navy Diver. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve with them.” ND1 Reyher and ND2 Harris’ names will forever be honored, and their story and ultimate sacrifice will ALWAYS be remembered! • R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc.’s Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) Training and Readiness Professional Support Services team wished Michael Jordan fair winds and following seas as he heads into retirement. “MJ” supported R3 and the #MESF force for the past 11 years, building upon a highly successful 30-year Naval Career in #EOD. It was certainly "fair winds" as the team bonded at iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Virginia Beach's state-of-the-art indoor skydiving wind tunnel.
