R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. leaders met 20-22 November at our San Diego HQ for a "Leadership Onsite and Strategic Synch" focused on strategic goals and objectives, resources, culture and values. Topics included HR, finance, business development, leadership & management, professional & career education, employee development & retention, and R3's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). R3 aims to be properly positioned – now and in the future – to support and develop our employees, and provide innovative strategic solutions to rapidly identify requirements, capture resources, and maximize readiness to accelerate our clients’ success. On November 7th, R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. teammates and alumni joined more than 600 Sailors, retirees, friends, and family at the dedication ceremony for the newly constructed Navy Special Operations (NSO) Memorial at the U.S. Navy EOD Group TWO compound on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. The NSO Memorial honors the 55 Navy EOD Technicians and 28 Navy Divers who have died in the line of duty since 1942. The memorial also promotes healing and wellness for current service members. The NSO Memorial was dedicated by the Navy Special Operations Foundation, the Navy EOD Association, and EOD Group TWO.  R3 was extremely honored to sponsor the memorial's construction. The R3 strategic communication cell recently supported the DoD Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) program office to create several communication products to articulate the undeniable value of collaborative, cross-service DoD EOD capabilities in support of U.S. national security objectives. In an effort to enhance its impact in northwest Florida, R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. joined the Technology Coast Manufacturing and Engineering Network (TeCMEN) in 2023.  TeCMEN, was established by One Okaloosa EDC in 1989 to be the premier business advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) industries. TeCMEN provides opportunities for innovative collaboration and advanced technical expertise locally, regionally, and in the competitive global marketplace.

Members of R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc.’s MidAtlantic team, Bob Baughman and Craig Smith attended the EOD Group 2 Family Day on 16 August. The day marked the completion of the Navy EOD King Crab, a four-day combat-focused military skills competition that challenges the physical and mental endurance of Navy EOD technicians, highlighting the scope of unique skill sets and capabilities. Hosted by EODGRU 2, two-person teams from East Coast based EOD units compete to win the title of best EOD operator. Two EOD Techs from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 won this year’s competition. BZ from all of us at R3!!! #NavyEOD

Earlier this summer, the R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. team joined together for a corporate outing to see the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Team outings and events are born from our common service culture and have become a staple at R3. We were able to bring together coworkers, family and friends in a relaxed setting to watch a great ball game.
