The power of community is unmatched ?? Last week, we started a new initiative on our social channels, inviting DJs from our community to create and collaboratively post mixes on our page, allowing us to truly showcase the talent within our community, whilst giving the DJs an opportunity to have their work shared on new platforms, to new audiences. Not to stress anyone out but... we're almost a week into February ???? The beginning of the year is always weirdly slow, and quick, at the same time. For DJs and creatives, this time is usually spent catching up after a busy holiday period, strategising for the new year and sowing seeds for new projects. 'tis the season to GIVE BACK. Whether you're a big organisation, or small group of people on a mission, it's always a good time to take a break, reflect and give back to those in need. Last week, we got together with ourppls and Pepper Pots (www.mypepperpots.com) and gathered our community to decorate and fill shoeboxes with donations for those in need. We had a beautiful time, bringing people together for a good cause ??

What makes a successful collaboration? Authenticity. It has to MAKE SENSE. Whether it's two brands, agency and brand or individuals and brand, all parties involved need to align with the mission, vision and values of the brands and their communities. Let's gather for a little #ADE2024 throwback... This year's Amsterdam Dance Event was truly special for us at R/HOOD as we joined forces with one of the top music platforms, 1001Tracklists . Not only were the Top 101 Producers & The Future Of Dance selections celebrated, but we also created incredible opportunities for up-and-coming talent. As a global DJ and talent platform built to create representation and opportunities for underrepresented talent, R/HOOD was elevated to new heights by partnering with the iconic DJ platform to host one of ADE's most memorable nights. Thank you to everyone who came out, or supported us otherwise ??
