    We are 2 weeks into February, people are properly back in office, projects are booked and budgets are decided. It's a critical time for organisations of all sizes to consider where their money is going this year. How are you engaging with local communities? What organisations and people are you supporting? How will you make an impact? Are the collaborations you are planning truly meaningful? These are all things to consider before signing off on those contracts and SOW. Make sure that 2025 is a year to remember ??

    The power of community is unmatched ?? Last week, we started a new initiative on our social channels, inviting DJs from our community to create and collaboratively post mixes on our page, allowing us to truly showcase the talent within our community, whilst giving the DJs an opportunity to have their work shared on new platforms, to new audiences. Truly, it's a win win. We cannot wait to share more of our amazing community, make sure to stay tuned on our instagram ???

    Not to stress anyone out but... we're almost a week into February ???? The beginning of the year is always weirdly slow, and quick, at the same time. For DJs and creatives, this time is usually spent catching up after a busy holiday period, strategising for the new year and sowing seeds for new projects. Let's hear what everyone has been working on so we can support each other ??

    'tis the season to GIVE BACK. Whether you're a big organisation, or small group of people on a mission, it's always a good time to take a break, reflect and give back to those in need. Last week, we got together with ourppls and Pepper Pots (www.mypepperpots.com) and gathered our community to decorate and fill shoeboxes with donations for those in need. We had a beautiful time, bringing people together for a good cause ??

    What makes a successful collaboration? Authenticity. It has to MAKE SENSE. Whether it's two brands, agency and brand or individuals and brand, all parties involved need to align with the mission, vision and values of the brands and their communities. The collaboration has to mean something, spark a passion amongst the community and provide something new. Curious to see how it's done? Stay tuned for 2025... it's gonna be a big year!

    Let's gather for a little #ADE2024 throwback... This year's Amsterdam Dance Event was truly special for us at R/HOOD as we joined forces with one of the top music platforms, 1001Tracklists . Not only were the Top 101 Producers & The Future Of Dance selections celebrated, but we also created incredible opportunities for up-and-coming talent. As a global DJ and talent platform built to create representation and opportunities for underrepresented talent, R/HOOD was elevated to new heights by partnering with the iconic DJ platform to host one of ADE's most memorable nights. Thank you to everyone who came out, or supported us otherwise ??

    So Black History Month was almost a month ago... How many of you are still celebrating, uplifting and rewarding black creators and employees? Working towards equality isn't a one-month stint, it's an always-on process. And it doesn't stop until everyone has equal opportunities, appreciation and recognition ?? If you for some reason forgot, let this be your reminder to keep putting that work in!
