Nate held five previous internships, including two at NASA and the most recent one at AstraZeneca, doing Data Science and Software Engineering. Quidient welcomes Alex DeJournett as a Light Transport Engineer! Alex holds a master's degree from Dartmouth College. He specializes in material appearance and accelerating forward rendering of surfaces and volumes. He has experience in academia in addition to industry. Quidient is delighted to be awarded a position on a $975 million contract for the U.S. Air Force! This contract helps identify, prototype, and integrate technology to enhance the operational readiness of deployed weapon systems. A warm welcome to Joe Conrad, Quidient's Manger of Solutions Group. Joe double majored at Eckerd College in Marine Science (focus on Biology) and History (focus on East Asia). To complete his education, Joe studied Ancient History (Greek and Roman) while minoring in Digital Preservation Technology at the University of South Florida. Joe was introduced to 3D technologies at USF, including LiDAR, photogrammetry, and 3D printing from a cultural heritage/preservation perspective. Joe is an expert in capturing and processing various 3D deliverables using tools and techniques including photogrammetry, LiDAR, structured light, and enterprise grade UAS. Quidient welcomes Shailesh Mishra! As a Scene Reconstruction Engineer at Quidient, Sam Mishra uses methods and algorithms to reconstruct and visualize real-life objects within 5D scenes. Before Quidient, Sam interned at NVIDIA and conducted his research thesis at DFKI. He completed his Master's in Computer Science from Saarland University, specializing in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
