For the third year in a row, QuickFlip Media had the honor of documenting The Walls Project's MLK Day of Service. This year was truly incredible! Watching our community come together to create, uplift, and inspire is something we never take for granted. But here’s the thing: moments like these don’t just happen and they deserve to be captured and shared. Why does this matter for businesses and nonprofits? The work you do should not go unnoticed. Whether you're a nonprofit making a difference or a small business driving change, video and photography are the most powerful ways to showcase your mission, engage supporters, and attract funding. --> 84% of people say they’ve been convinced to take action after watching a video. --> Social media algorithms prioritize video content, meaning more visibility for your cause. --> Photos and videos build trust, making your audience feel connected to your mission. If you’re out there doing meaningful work, don’t let those moments slip away. Document them! Share them. Inspire action. That’s where we come in. https://lnkd.in/gbpzTieW Ready to highlight your impact? Let’s talk. #VideoMarketing #NonprofitStorytelling #MLKDay #CommunityImpact #SmallBusinessMarketing #QuickFlipMedia

Thought you were safe? Nope. TikTok’s gone, and now CapCut just packed its bags too.?? If your entire video workflow just disappeared overnight… that’s your sign. ? Stop relying on one app. Social media changes way too fast to be your home base. You NEED a website to actually own your content & audience. #RIPCapCut #ContentCreators #SmallBusiness #NotAgain
No lie, the CapCut ban took me by surprise, too. But, it just reinforces what I've been preaching for over a decade. Putting all your eggs in one digital basket is a terrible idea. Think back to: -The Vine Shutdown (2016):?Creators who built their brands on Vine lost everything when Twitter pulled the plug. -The Facebook Algorithm Shift (2018):?Drastic changes in Facebook’s newsfeed algorithm led to massive drops in organic reach for brands and businesses. This one was HUGE for traditional media outlets. -The YouTube Adpocalypse (2017-2019):?Monetization changes on YouTube left many creators without income streams they had counted on. If you are a content creator, solopreneur, or small business owner, you really need to take a look at your digital presence. First off, do you have a website? Controlling your own platform is going to be a key takeaway from this moment in digital history.

As we embrase the beginning of the new year, we wanted to share a quick look at 2024! There's something extra special about this video. The audio is from a Baton Rouge band called Karma and the Killjoys. We learned about them in two different ways: 1) The talented singer is a staff member of the Baton Rouge Music Studios, which is one of our clients; 2) Our incredible intern Abigail Rodrigue is a huge fan of their music. During a conversation about the band, we had a big "ah ha" moment: why aren't we using local musicans music more in the content we are creating for ourselves and our clients? So, that's going to be one of our "resolutions" for 2024. We want to utilize more local creatives in the work we produce. We already work with fabulous creative videographers and photographers. Now it's time to add more musicians, painters, dancers, etc. Got some suggestions for us? https://lnkd.in/ginTd4UX
