Right before the global pandemic I had met Michelle James in Las Vegas at the Reverse Logistics Association, the intro was a quick one “We’ve developed this group to bring the industry together, make sure that everyone involved is at the table and move this Wild Wild West industry forward.” Fast forward the last few years has been a whirlwind, so much change in such a short period of time, CTIA, #RLSQ and WISE Certification became the industry standard. If you would have told me 4 years ago this group had evolved to having the most respected OEM’s, Marketplaces and Carriers all in one place I would have thought you were crazy. Here we are 4 years later, Apple, Samsung, Amazon, ebay, Reebelo, etc all talking about the challenges faced. Changes never happen overnight, but it is the continued commitment of the working groups that try to define the future. Last night they surprised me. Humbled, honored and thankful to be recognized for trying to help move this industry forward, Quick Ship Brands and Team was given an excellence award. After hearing about the agenda for 2025, although we’ve collectively accomplished so much, it feels like we are still just getting started. Thank you for the recognition and helping shape the future of the secondary market and circular economy!

When I woke up this morning, after a long week in Vegas, I was reading about Josh Beasley reflection on Mobile Disrupt. It feels like the industry is changing quickly. Marketplaces are starting to re-imagine a different future with how to remarket and grade devices, after years of hard work and dedication by CTIA and the working groups. Shoutout Marin Galvin & Michelle James As many of you know we’ve been working extensively behind the scenes to help revolutionize what we feel the secondary market needs. We've built a solution that will help the ecosystem grow, build broader trust in the marketplaces, drive down costs for partners, and get items to buyers efficiently and effectively. Soon we’ll be publicly speaking to the masses more about our Marketplace as a service partnership opportunities via our saas platform, on.xyz, but one of the things that stuck with me from the post yesterday is the industry has plenty to go around and we can all, collectively work together, and continue to drive the value of what we do. Our marketplace business continues to thrive.? Today we are announcing that we signed some paperwork and have begun the integration with Reebelo.? Their focus on the circular economy and their tremendous growth is something we cannot let sit on the table any longer. Lastly, kudos to Bob Lafon and the Mobile Disrupt team, in just a few short years you’ve put together what many are now calling the mobile industry show of the year!

The meetings at Quick Ship Brands in Woodinville continue! So thankful to have every the team at eBay refurbished visit us and talk about what’s next! As large as these marketplaces become, we have always been a huge believer in the personal connections that are developed together, this is part of the success and resilience of quickshipelectronics building the brand it has. I’m genuinely excited to see what comes in the latter half the of the year from our discussions today. We will announce what we’ve been working on at QSB soon!

Today for earth day we had the opportunity to meet with the global teams of Amazon renewed in our facilities to think about the future of sustainability. It isn’t everyday that some of the largest marketplaces want to work to challenge status quo to reduce returns, offer higher quality goods and create the best customer experiences they can. When we were originally thinking through what something like this would look like it was 4 or 5 people. Fast forward to reality and here we are 20+ deep! We appreciate the continued commitment to sustainability at every level. As you can see on the slide, our commitment to being #R2V3, #NAID, #ISO, #OSHAS, #CTIA, with #WISE certified technicians helps create sustainable impact in the secondary market from one of the highest quality #DTC brands around. The commitment from our teams continues to be second to none. Here is to #earthday2024, continuing on our journey to move the needle forward.
