We are excited to announce our adaptive reuse project for the Amy's Kitchen HQ in downtown Petaluma has won a preservation design award from the California Preservation Foundation! Originally built as a department store, the building had been empty for many years until Amy's Kitchen decided to move their HQ to downtown. The 3 story office is centered around a tasting kitchen and the entire ground floor is designed to host community events and allow for multi-modal working. The circular mezzanine at the multi-story front window was added for seismic bracing and adds another sunny place to congregate.
