On November 21, Quest One welcomed representatives from Hamburg’s Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture (BUKEA) alongside a delegation of officials from European environmental authorities to the Gigahub site. The exchange focused on the ramp-up of the hydrogen industry and the associated impact on technological developments. In particular, issues related to environmental factors and the potential for sustainability in stack production were of interest. ???????????????? ???????? ?????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? ???? ???????????????? After a welcome by CEO Robin v. Plettenberg and an introduction to the vision and work of Quest One, the delegation visited the stack production and testing facilities together with Site Manager & VP Operations Stack Jens Werner Schwarz and Justin Richards, VP Testing. Here, the delegation was able to see how PEM stacks are produced on two state-of-the-art automated production lines, learn about the value of stack testing and see two finished stacks. With over 12,000 square meters of space, the climate-neutral site is designed to achieve an annual electrolysis output of over five gigawatts at full capacity. In addition to series production, Quest One is driving the development of new, high-performance PEM stack generations to make an even greater contribution to the energy transition. ?? ???????? ???? ?????????? ????????? We are proud to announce that Quest One has successfully achieved the ISO 14001 certification for our internal Environmental Management System (EMS). This milestone is a testament our ongoing commitment to the highest environmental standards and sustainable business practices. As part of the certification process, various areas of our organization were thoroughly evaluated and our implementation was confirmed to be fully compliant. On October 20, the official certificate was presented by DQS, an independent certification body. In a private setting, the Chancellor took the time to address their ideas and questions. This unique moment gave our colleagues the opportunity to gain direct insights as well as get to know Chancellor Scholz on a more personal level The meeting also highlighted the value of open conversations in today's fast-paced world.
