As part of this month’s genetic counseling awareness activities, we are proud to recognize Kimberly Gall, one of Quest’s many genetic counselors working to make a difference. Kim’s area of expertise is Neurology. Though Kim observed early in her career that genetic counseling wasn’t the most well-known field, she quickly realized it was a perfect fit for her. Because of how vast and varied genetic counseling can be, she aims to stay up-to-date on news in genetics and suggests that aspiring counselors take every opportunity to learn about the field.
