Check out how the team at Arc Eye LLC have been using our Double Rainbows for a 3D scanning head rig setup in collaboration with Sony. "Our demo head scanning system at the Sony booth during Siggraph presented a unique opportunity to experiment with new lighting. The rig featured two new Sony cameras seamlessly integrated into a custom rig designed by Arc Eye for high resolution 3D and high framerate 4D capture. During the show we captured and processed flat light 3D face scans for anyone that visited the booth. Behind the scenes we are continuing to develop workflows for immersive 4D capture using Double Rainbows. Quasar Double Rainbows ticked all the boxes for our demo scanning system. Color accurate, flexible control, and a small footprint. They continue to be a great tool for rapid development of immersive 3D and 4D content capture." ULB, done entirely in Live FX: https://lnkd.in/d_3jueQe Leandro Marini, VP Supervisor and Post Lead at Feather & Cap says: "Live FX was the central brain of the whole shoot, it would not have been possible without it. We used Live FX to not only drive the LED volume, but everything was composited LIVE, in realtime, from 6 premade animated layers.?We prepped some assets and animations and then brought them into Live FX, composited, color graded, and polished them all live to camera. Live FX also drove our Quasar Science IBL Lights (which needed to be in sync with the animated backgrounds) and even served as the audio playback system at the same time, for the band.?That's a lot to ask of one system! Live FX never dropped a frame the whole day. We ran it off of a relatively simple, single RTX3090 windows system with an sdi-card." "On this project, sound sync, IBL and complex compositing, paint outs, realtime plugins, and especially color grading (the neon really had to be dialed carefully so as to be very colorful but not blow out the camera's sensor) all had to work together and I'm not aware of another software that can do that all in one system. Plus, it runs on hardware we already own. We literally just re-purposed one of our existing mid-level VFX systems that normally runs After Effects and Cinema4D." "In the "storyline" part of the music video, everytime FRIKI is seen, it's a composite, as he wasn't there on the day.
