???Quantum Space Achieves Major Milestone in Ranger Spacecraft Development??? Excited to share that Quantum Space has successfully completed structural load testing of our Ranger spacecraft, validating its ability to support and integrate a full complement of spacecraft and payloads. This is a critical achievement, demonstrating Ranger’s robust?design. During testing, we validated the structural dynamics and load-bearing capacity of various mounting configurations, accommodating customer spacecraft on both radial and forward-facing ports. The versatile Ranger platform supports a range of interfaces—including ESPA 15” and 24” separation rings and ESPA 4-point mounts—providing unmatched flexibility for diverse mission needs. Appreciated have Dr. Turner visit as we kicked off this important Space Development Agency contract to study using Ranger for de-orbiting spacecraft.

SDA funded six companies to study the feasibility of assisted, on-demand space vehicle (SV) de-orbit as a service—kind of like a tugboat in space! These studies were funded under a recent call for proposals through the Systems, Technologies, and Emerging Capabilities (STEC) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). SDA selected these companies to each complete a study: Arkisys; Impulse Space; Quantum Space; Sierra Space; SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI); and Starfish Space. The studies have already kicked off and should be done by the end of this year. While the PWSA’s SVs are equipped with propulsion systems sized and qualified through responsible disposal at end-of-life, SDA is also interested in commercially available options for assisted disposal services as a potential future cost-saving measure or as a contingency should they be required. Quantum Space is pleased to announce it has been awarded a satellite servicing contract by Space Development Agency (SDA)! This contract is aimed at advancing commercial orbital maintenance services, with a particular focus on innovative, on-demand commercial disposal assistance. We are conducting a study to assess the feasibility and affordability of on-demand assisted de-orbit. Quantum Space is thrilled to further advance space logistics and constellation management through this study, in collaboration with industry leaders Maxar Technologies and Scout Space. We are prepared to support SDA's mission of ensuring the long-term viability of our planet's orbital assets by reducing space debris. A seasoned military officer with 37+ years in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, where he played a crucial role in applying emerging and legacy space capabilities to national security during his tenure with NRO, Fleet Cyber Command and DIU. ???Educational Excellence: GP’s multiple advanced degrees in engineering, space systems, and national security are a testament to his dedication and expertise. ???Visionary Leadership: GP's career is marked by his ability to integrate emerging technologies into groundbreaking space missions.
