Quantum is difficult to understand. I've developed a short series of "Quantum Beginner Guides" (See links to these guides in the comments). If you're new to quantum, I hope these help. #QuantumAI is making significant strides in solving complex #optimization problems, with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Rigetti Computing at the forefront of this research. Their joint partnership explores an innovative hybrid quantum-classical approach to tackle complex optimization problems. The method combines three key components: Problem decomposition: Developed by the University of Delaware, this technique breaks down large optimization problems into smaller, more manageable parts. Noise mitigation: Created by NASA, USRA, and Purdue University, this approach reduces the impact of hardware noise on quantum optimization processes. Quantum relax-and-round algorithm: Developed by Rigetti Computing, this algorithm performs well on current noisy quantum computers. As #quantumhardware continues to improve, such as Rigetti's recent achievement of 99.5% median two-qubit gate fidelity on their Ankaa-3 system, we can expect further advancements in solving complex optimization problems using quantum-classical hybrid approaches. https://lnkd.in/eHdG4qCr
