Last night, we published our latest white paper on arXiv showcasing a breakthrough in large-scale quantum circuit simulation. In the paper, titled "Effective Simulation of Sycamore Circuits", we showed that the Quantum Rings SDK is powerful enough to simulate very large and very complex quantum circuits, including those from Google's quantum supremacy experiment, with accuracies that exceed those published by any other quantum systems-- all on classical compute hardware limited to 32GB of memory! A task originally estimated to take the biggest supercomputers 10,000 years to accomplish, can now run on your laptop! We look forward to seeing what the innovative community of quantum developers can do with this game-changing technology and to see what superpowers is unlocks for enterprises that have already started investing in the space. We’re thrilled that this work has already been picked up by The Quantum Insider, Quantum Computing Report and Prnewswire, and we hope to see word continue to spread. To dive into the details: Quantum Rings Blog Release: https://lnkd.in/gSbPWGvH Full White Paper on arXiv: https://lnkd.in/gnhZH_TW A huge thanks to our authors Venkateswaran Kasirajan, Torey Battelle, PhD, and Bob Wold, and collaborators, including Gil Speyer at Arizona State University, Santiago Nú?ez-Corrales, Ph.D. and Darren Adams at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Quantum Collaborative, and everyone who contributed to this milestone. Special acknowledgment goes to the individuals mentioned in our white paper—your expertise and dedication make these breakthroughs possible.

This weekend Quantum Rings was proud to sponsor the #GenQHackathon at Platform Calgary, with Bob Wold, and Robert Wamsley on the ground helping innovators from diverse backgrounds gather for a weekend of intense ideation, collaboration, and implementation of real-world applications in quantum computing. The energy was electric, with participants tackling real-world challenges that have the potential to shape our future, using quantum computing techniques. ? Highlights included: - Engaging Keynotes: Martin Laforest, Lisa Lambert and other inspired us all with their perspectives on the impact the Quantum Generation can have. -Creative Challenges: Teams dove into use cases like wind farm optimization for clean energy, snow plowing routes, quantum chemistry simulations, and the Challenge sponsored by Quantum Rings--responsible investment strategies, where the hackers found creative ways to maximize investment portfolios by responsibly blending ESG parameters into the mix. -Final Pitch Competition: Teams presented their quantum solutions, competing for prizes and an opportunity to join a boot camp with QAI Ventures to take their ideas to the next level. A special shoutout to Carlos Kuchkovsky and Antonio Peris from QCentroid for providing the platform and compute resources that powered the hackathon! Thanks to them, participants could use the Quantum Rings SDK to run large-scale quantum simulations. It was an honor to sponsor this event alongside such incredible quantum legends as Xanadu, Pasqal, Alice & Bob, QCentroid, Kipu Quantum, and others. We are looking forward to seeing these projects grow and continue making a difference. ?? Thanks to QAI Ventures and their team for putting this hackathon together! #QuantumComputing #Innovation #Collaboration #QuantumRings

When should I start with Quantum computing? "Start Now!" Lots of excitement in Calgary at qConnect 2024, where leading companies in sectors from Energy to Human Health, highlight how they are making practical steps to build their leadership position in Quantum Computing. One of the recurring themes-- simulation! We're ready to help. With Quantum Rings' simulation technology you can start building your capabilities and IP now, to ensure you maintain your lead as quantum computing opens up new opportunities and disrupts those who aren't ready.

Big shout out to Ezunial Eze Burts III for calling out Quantum Rings, Inc. and qBraid while on stage at qConnect. It's exciting to see qConnect a buzz with experts advocating that companies need to get started with their Quantum Computing strategy, before they fall behind. To paraphrase a few thought leaders: "Companies need to jump in now ... first adopters will really have an edge" -Martin Laforest "Start Now!" -Bob Parney "It's relatively inexpensive to start de-risking your IP strategy now for what's coming in the next decade" -Rafal Janik

Denver Startup Week is in full swing as Bob Wold represents Denver Quantum startups headquartered in Colorado. It's an exciting time to be in Quantum Computing, and splitting time between the vibrant ecosystems in Colorado (home of Elevate Quantum) and Chicago (home of the Chicago Quantum Exchange) reiterates the commitment from our local and federal officials from coast-to-coast to drive the race to utility-scale of quantum computing.
Helping Companies Thrive with Quantum Computing | Co-founder & CEO at Quantum Rings, where we make quantum computing practical today.
Jared Polis just kicked off another Denver Startup Week by giving a shout out to #QuantumComputing, reminding us that Colorado employs more individuals in the field of quantum than any other state, and sharing a vision to support continued growth in Colorado.

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Argonne National Laboratory. As the first U.S. national laboratory, Argonne has played a pivotal role in advancing nuclear technology for energy production and now continues to show leadership in supporting and driving the quantum revolution. During our visit, we toured the supercomputing resources at Argonne up-close, including Aurora—an exascale supercomputer currently ranked as the 2nd fastest supercomputer on the Top500 list. We also saw the fascinating journey of computing power, from the retired Mira supercomputer, now immortalized as wall art, to the exponential growth in FLOPS that Aurora represents. It’s provided an exciting data point on how far compute has come, and how fast it continues to evolve. While it's clear that Moore's law is still alive and well, it's also clear that HPC and supercomputing have the opportunity to provide an exciting step function in terms of problem-solving capability as we scale our quantum simulation at Quantum Rings to allow quantum computing on classical compute resoures. In addition to supercomputing, we were excited to learn more about Argonne's investments in quantum technologies through initiatives like Q-NEXT and the Argonne Quantum Foundry. Q-NEXT is a DOE National Quantum Information Science Research Center, focusing on building the tools, materials, and platforms needed for quantum communication and sensing. Meanwhile, the Quantum Foundry is an essential part of the effort to fabricate and test new quantum materials, which are crucial for the development of quantum computers and other quantum devices. And of course, no visit to Argonne would be complete without a stop at the Advanced Photon Source. This world-class X-ray light source allows researchers to observe materials at atomic levels, providing insights that are critical for everything from drug design to energy solutions-- topics that clearly have significant alignment with the applications of quantum computing. A huge thank you to everyone at Argonne National Laboratory, Phil Smith and Deena Wright for hosting our CEO, Bob Wold, and for the amazing tour, and a big thanks to the Duality Accelerator for their continued collaboration & connections. #QuantumComputing #Supercomputing #QuantumTechnology #Innovation #Exascale #PhotonScience @ArgonneNationalLab @BobWold @Duality
