Researchers from Delft University of Technology, QuTech, Universit?t Innsbruck, Inria, and CNRS — part of the Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) — have unveiled QNodeOS, the first-ever operating system for quantum networks. Published in Nature, this achievement marks a significant leap forward for quantum technology, paving the way for programmable quantum network applications. Prof. Dr. Stephanie Wehner, who led the study, explains: "The goal of our research is to bring quantum network technology to all. With QNodeOS we're taking a big step forward.
