We had an amazing time sponsoring the Food Court at the Wichita Riverfest again this year! We were out there every weekday from 11-2, chatting with so many wonderful Wichitans and enjoying the lunchtime bands. Plus, we couldn’t resist grabbing a quesadilla from?Tacos TJ 664 every day! ?? Last week we had a special Dog Day Out with Miss Rosie Posie! Rosie is the best little dog and was excellent at riding in the truck and meeting everyone at our two credit union branches here in Wichita. She was nervous about going into new buildings but did great meeting everyone at Quantum CU! After she visited the credit unions we walked and socialized at the park. Sometimes meeting lots of folks is overwhelming for a pup, and that's ok. Rosie was adopted the day after our Dog Day Out, and we know she is doing great! This year we sponsored the Pando Initiative Star Awards, and we sponsored students from two local schools. This was a great event, and a great opportunity to see the impact that the Pando Initiative has, in coordination with the Reality U program. Last week we had a great Dog Day Out with Ernie! As of this morning Ernie has found a home! Thanks to all our friends and partners for helping socialize him and help us spread the word about how awesome the pups at?@kshumanesociety?are. We got to go to our two Quantum branches, see our friends in Delano, and get all the pets! The first Bark at the Park of the season was last Thursday night and, even though the weather looked a little shaky, it was a great event! The sun came out for a little while, and there was a great turnout with 77 dogs in attendance at Riverfront Stadium. The Quantum booth was bustling with activity, folks, and pups. Our staff did an amazing job running the booth and ensuring that everyone had a great time! ? We gave out new collar lights, koozies, and chip clips. All of which were a big hit with the Wind Surge fans. The Simple Booth photo ring was also a big hit, with lots of fun dog memories captured throughout the evening. ? Brownie was our guest for this month's Dog Day Out and he was the best boy!
