Happy to have participated in MI Hydrogen's annual H2 workshop, bringing together leading stakeholders from across Michigan and the Midwest. Great plans taking shape to ensure Michigan is at the forefront of the rapidly developing H2 economy.

Quantron AG, a company specializing in eco-friendly transportation, recently wrapped up its QUANTRON Design Award 2024. The award ceremony happened online on March 18, with people from all over the globe, along with project partners, joining in. This event celebrated innovative designs aimed at making transportation more sustainable. The competition attracted 35 entries from over 10 countries and 20 esteemed universities and design schools. It sought to honour and support young designers who had fresh ideas for the transportation sector. These ideas were meant to be unconventional, thinking outside the box to tackle challenges in transportation. The main aim was to encourage young talents to share their new perspectives and ideas. By doing so, the event hoped to shake up the European transportation and logistics industry with innovative yet practical solutions. Proud to have participated in the latest MI Hydrogen event hosted by the University of Michigan. Featured speaker was Neil Banwart, Chief Integration Officer, Midwest Alliance for Clean Hydrogen. Great update on the MachH2 Hydrogen Hub and how it, and the other H2 hubs, will be a giant step forward in H2 infrastructure.

Brussels calling for exciting discussions about the transformation of the Transportation Sector to zero emissions. vbw – Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. invited me to join the stage for a discussion amongst other experts in Brussels. The conversation ignited around the EU's adoption of the world's most ambitious CO2 fleet limits for heavy-duty vehicles.? These regulations require a transformative journey towards zero-emission powertrain technologies. However, the path to carbon neutrality is paved with challenges, particularly in aligning with the European goal of embracing battery electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles. The adoption of fleet limits and Euro VII regulation calls for a robust H2 refuelling and charging infrastructure. For European long-distance transport, the call for megawatt charging infrastructure and Hydrogen filling stations echoed for seamless integration of zero-emission trucks.? The Brussels roundtable brought together key stakeholders across the transportation value chain. Together, we aim to co-create innovative solutions and pave the way for future instruments driving the ramp-up of refuelling and charging infrastructure across Europe.
