Will we see you at the 2024 National Ambient Air Monitoring Conference (NAAMC) in New Orleans, Louisiana from August 12 to 15th? Come find us at our booth in the exhibit hall, or at Wednesday morning's session 'Community Monitoring Data & Sensor QA' which our Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer, Eben Cross, will moderate. Given all that's changed in the two years since this group last convened - from funding to expectations to technologies - we'll have plenty to discuss and debate as a community! Check the conference website for the full run-down of sessions and speakers: https://hubs.li/Q02KgQKW0 #EPA #AirQuality #Community #AirMonitoring #Exhibition

We love this perspective from leading environmental organization and QuantAQ customer, Groundwork Hudson Valley. The team's vision - to deliver truly actionable air quality data with and for community members - makes us proud to be chosen as their sensor provider. "With community-based monitoring, we can see the air quality data that disproportionately impacts residents on a hyper-local level and find targeted solutions." It's an exciting week for the City of Madison, WI as officials kick off deployment of a new network of QuantAQ sensors. Kudos to the partnership between the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway's office alongside a consortium of local organizations, with funding provided through a US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant. We're proud to play a role in this milestone, described by Gabriel Saiz, Sustainability Program Coordinator as: "...the culmination of decades of environmental justice advocacy, institutionalizing environmental justice without our regulatory agencies and within the federal government, and then us actually taking action on those priorities and giving communities the resources..." Way to lead the way, Madison! https://hubs.li/Q02HR3Zh0 #AirQuality #EnvironmentalJustice #Community #AirMonitoring #ClimateMayors

It's our core belief that solving today's air quality challenges will require a fast, thoughtful, and collaborative embrace of AI and Machine Learning, which is why we're proud to have experts like Dr. David McClosky, QuantAQ's Staff Data Scientist, advancing our data models behind-the-scenes. He'll be repping Aeromancy, our open-source framework for making data pipelines and ML more reproducible, at SciPy Conference this week. If you're part of the scientific python community, try it out and get in touch with your feedback - we're hoping this fills a critical missing piece of the ML/AI ecosystem. #SciPy2024 #Python #DataScience #ScientificComputing #OpenScience https://hubs.li/Q02FPX5F0

Check out how QuantAQ customer South Bronx Unite is bringing our new Shared Maps feature to life on their digital story map: https://hubs.li/Q02CfmTh0 The team behind their ongoing, high-visibility #AirMonitoring initiative chose to embed real-time data from their 65 sensors deployed across Mott Haven and Port Morris. From community members to policy-makers, raising awareness of block-by-block pollution levels is central to SBU's advocacy goals. We were grateful for the chance to work together to raise the bar on easy, mobile-friendly data sharing through this release. #EnvironmentalJustice #EJ #AirQuality #Storytelling #Advocacy
