It was such an honor to be invited to the German Consulate to participate in the presentation of the charity cause of the German-American Scholarship Association to the new sponsors and donors. Wearing a beautiful white dress felt absolutely magical and response from the patrons filled my heart with inspiration and joyful anticipation of the 64th Annual Quadrille Ball . Proceeds from the Ball will be funding scholarships for gifted students at U.S. or German universities. I would like to share information about a wonderful education scholarship charity for which I have been supporting for 15 years. It's called German-American Scholarship Association, or "Quadrille" for short. I am part of the Benefit Council for our annual gala fundraiser which is open to attendance by the general public and welcomes donations and sponsors.??The gala is the 64th?Quadrille Ball scheduled to take place the evening of Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.??Tickets can be purchased at?www.quadrilleball.org?, and donations are accepted there too. ? Over the years I have witnessed how this very worthy cause provides critical funds, in the form of a stipend, to students while also promoting Trans-Atlantic friendship between Germany and the United States.??I have met many of the scholarship recipients and have been impressed by the advanced scientific and technical nature of their studies.??For many students, this important research and advanced study could not happen without this additional financial support.? A New York tradition since 1961 the Ball has supported more than 700 students in their studies abroad.??Quadrille is an all-volunteer organization so donations and net proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the scholarship fund.? We are an all-volunteer not-for-profit that raises funds to award scholarships for the exchange of graduate and undergraduate students from Germany and the U.S. Our biggest source of funding is a white-tie charity ball taking place on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at The Plaza in Manhattan. Early-bird tickets are now on sale at https://lnkd.in/eginWVsU In addition, we are currently recruiting young professionals (21-35 years old) in the Manhattan area to perform at the ball. The experience includes rehearsals, socializing, networking, and joining an amazing community of Quadrille alumni from the past 63 years.
