Quadridox, Inc. is proud to be Iconal Technology Ltd.'s consortium partner as part of this Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom program. We are excited to demonstrate the capabilities of our tabletop #Xraydiffraction system as a new tool for reducing delays, improving security, and minimizing staffing in the UK airports and beyond.

Quadridox, Inc.'s CEO Joel Greenberg, PhD and COO Dave Coccarelli, PhD had the honor of meeting with Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-04) at her office on Capitol Hill last week. Despite everything going on in her day (including preparing for the president’s address to the joint session of congress later that afternoon), Rep. Foushee took the time to hear about Quadridox’s mission to provide the United States with new technologies to keep aviation safe, combat illicit drugs and contraband entering the country, and to help streamline cancer diagnosis. As a small business dedicated to supporting the government and as a recipient of federal funding through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security S&T and the NIH, it is important to ensure that our leaders understand that R&D dollars translate into innovation, jobs, and new products that protect the health and security of our nation.

Another first for Quadridox, Inc. - Joel Greenberg, PhD, Anuj Kapadia and Andrew F.T. Leong had a chance to show off our BioSpecx biospecimen #Xraydiffraction imaging system at the The National Institutes of Health campus as part of a National Cancer Institute Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT) meeting. This will be the first of many trips for the system as we work to demonstrate efficacy and compatibility with clinical workflows.

Quadridox, Inc. is excited to continue working to support the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) through a new $4.5M+ U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate contract. After demonstrating a significant reduction in checked baggage false alarm rates as part of a previous effort, we are now redefining the state of the art with a next-generation X-ray diffraction imaging system that has no moving parts (except for the belt), interrogates the entire bag, and operates at native EDS belt speeds. Quadridox, Inc. is proud of Colt Dudley, our Lead Development Engineer, who represented us at the recent Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) Laser & Photonics Technology program Career Fair on 11.19.24.??It is always wonderful to get to talk with North Carolina’s best and brightest at events like this throughout the year, but this was an extra special occasion because Colt Dudley also got to participate on a CCCC alumni panel and share his insights and experience with students looking to follow in his impressive footsteps.

Quadridox, Inc. had strong representation at this year's Concealed Explosives and Drug Detection (CEDD) Workshop - our COO Dave Coccarelli, PhD and CEO Joel Greenberg, PhD presented two technical talks on our X-ray diffraction imaging technologies and a poster on our physics-based synthetic data products. These talks clearly communicated to the OEMs, academics, government representatives and regulators in the room what Quadridox, Inc. has known for a long time: that #xraydiffraction imaging and #syntheticdata are critical to the future of security and that Quadridox is here to support that mission!

We at Quadridox, Inc. have found a fantastic partner in Rendered.ai, who shares our love of #physics and commitment to #syntheticdata. It's been great generating almost 100,000 images with Rendered.ai and seeing the many ways that their unique Platform as a Service expands the capabilities and productivity of our QSim RT engine. We look forward to continue helping transform and accelerate #Xray imaging and detection.

Dave Coccarelli, PhD had privilege of visiting the Innovation Checkpoint at the Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport, where he experienced firsthand the cutting-edge technologies transforming security. It was inspiring to see how the TSA and industry partners are collaborating to enhance passenger safety and streamline the travel experience. From advanced imaging tech to automated screening lanes, the tools in use are as impressive as the dedicated professionals behind them. Quadridox, Inc. is happy to announce that we have been awarded a $1.8M NIH SBIR Direct Phase II grant for the "Development and evaluation of a combined X-ray transmission and diffraction imaging system for pathology." This funding will help us revolutionize how breast tissue is evaluated in clinical #pathology and surgery, where our systems promise to increase throughput and sensitivity while reducing time and cost.
