Because it raises awareness—many don’t realize that in rural Idaho, emergency services depend on volunteers who sacrifice their time and energy to keep us safe. At QRU Nonprofit Organization, our mission began 18 years ago to help fill the gaps in resources and support for these heroes. This proclamation is a monumental step toward greater recognition, funding, and appreciation for the volunteers who give so much.
