????? Flooding Lagoons, Melting Mountains – New Article Out! ????? Exciting news! Monica Porzionato and I are thrilled to share our latest publication in Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management titled “Flooding Lagoons, Melting Mountains: Exploring Diffractive Analysis for a Communicative Engagement with Extra/Linguistic Materializations” ?? Building on diffraction with examples from fieldwork in the Tyrolean Alps and Venice, we explore how extra/linguistic forces—beyond just words—shape the communicative constitution of the climate crisis. By weaving together data and theory, we reveal how landscapes, atmospheres, and sensations become powerful agents in organizational life in the climate crisis. ?? This article is part of an exciting Special Issue on “Research Methods for the Performative and Communicative Study of Organizing and Organizations”, edited by Alex Wright, Sophie del Fa, and Nicolas Bencherki. We are sure it will resonate with scholars working with non-representational, feminist new materialist, and post-qualitative research in organizational communication. ?? ??
