Throwback to the last week of August, Qoala hosted our first ever AI Hackathon, a testament to our commitment to integrating AI into our core values. This event aimed to inspire our Qoala buddies to think creatively and develop innovative solutions for everyday challenges. ?? We had an incredible turnout, with 18 teams from our offices in Thailand, Malaysia, India, and our headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, participating in a dynamic 48-hour hackathon. A total of 108 participants from both tech and non-tech backgrounds joined in, making for a fun and collaborative atmosphere. The essence of this event was not just about competition, but about teamwork and fostering a problem-solving mindset. Congratulations to all the winners! We had an exciting and insightful Qoala Course: Hands-On AI Workshop at Qoala, led by our Engineering Manager, Vivek Nayyar! Our participants explored the fundamentals of prompt engineering, gained a deeper understanding of LangChain and OpenAI technologies, learned the basics of fine-tuning models, and discovered how to leverage AI assistants effectively. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn, share, and grow together. We're looking forward to more engaging workshops like this in the future. Let's keep the momentum going!
