Qatar Chamber hosted a trade delegation from the Republic of Turkmenistan, led by Kemal Kutlyyev, Head of Foreign Economic Analytics & Information Department at the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce, and Industry. The delegation was received by Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansouri, QC Acting General Manager, in the presence of several Qatari businessmen. The delegation included representatives from 10 Turkmen companies operating across various sectors, focused on promoting cooperation between both chambers, exploring ways to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations, and exploring the investment climate and available opportunities in both countries.

Qatar Chamber recently participated in the “Mekkah Halal Forum 2025”, hosted by the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the theme "Sustainable Development through Halal". The Chamber’s delegation was led by Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and included board members Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Emadi, Abdulrahman Abduljaleel Al Abdulghani and Dr Mohamed bin Jawhar Al Mohamed. The Chamber's delegation toured the exhibition held alongside the forum, featuring hundreds of companies showcasing a diverse range of products related to the halal industry and its associated sectors. They explored the exhibits and received briefings from officials at the participating pavilions. On the sidelines of the Makkah Forum for Halal, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani met with Mr. Kurbanov Davronbek, the First Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Emadi, Abdulrahman Abduljaleel Al Abdulghani and Dr Mohamed bin Jawhar Al Mohamed., members of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber. The meeting discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investments, developing business cooperation, and organizing mutual delegation visits. ?

The total value of the private sector exports in the fourth quarter of 2024 amounted to QR 4.48 billion, reflecting a y-o-y increase of 68.5 % compared to QR 2.66 billion in Q4/2023, according to a report released by Qatar Chamber. On a quarterly basis, exports grew by 75.3 % compared to QR 2.55 billion in Q3/2024. However, the report also noted that total exports for 2024 reached QR 12.2 billion, marking a 41 % decrease compared to the previous year.
