?? We have just wrapped up an incredible Recovery Team Challenge! Over the past three weeks, teams of five worked together to reach a goal of 3,000 exercise minutes each by logging a wide range of sports activities. With 19 teams participating, a remarkable total of over 131,000 minutes was achieved! Collectively, we covered 11,395 kilometers and logged more than 3,000 workouts. This challenge not only got us moving but also strengthened our sense of community across the workplace. At Q8, we’re dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and fostering teamwork. Through our BeWell program, we organize a range of wellness activities to support these goals. We are very proud of everyone who took part. #ThrowbackThursday ??? ? Our very first Q8 electric fast-charging stations are now officially open and fully operational! To celebrate this milestone, we held an opening ceremony at our Aalter station on 25 September. We were happy to welcome Frank Rouwens, our MD, Jan Caerts, CEO of Storm, and Pieter De Crem, Mayor of Aalter. Their inspiring speeches and a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the start of our ambitious plan to establish up to 200 fast-charging stations over the next five years.? ? What’s next??? In the first quarter of 2025, we will be opening our Heusden-Zolder station alongside a McDonald's, followed by our first full-service fast-charging location with a shop and McDonald's in Stekene. There is much more to come as we continue our journey to become a Sustainable Mobility Player, with a strong focus on e-mobility. Q8 wins motorway concession in Knorrestein? Q8 won the Knorrestein concession along the A12 motorway towards The Hague, marking our 7th highway location in The Netherlands. This location is a perfect fit for our Tango network in The Netherlands. We will officially take over the concession in early December 2024, and the site will be rebranded to Tango Zoetermeer A12. We're targeting to be fully operational before the end of this year.? A big thank you to everyone involved! ???

Today, our Managing Director, frank rouwens, together with Jan Caerts, CEO of our partner Storm, and the Mayor of Aalter, Pieter De Crem, officially inaugurated our first Q8 electric fast charging station in Aalter. We have now opened our first four fast charging stations, out of a total of up to 200 that will be built over the next five years. ? This year, our Q8 team is coming together to make a difference by tracking their cycling, running, walking, and swimming activities to support two remarkable organisations: The Belgian Paralympic Committee sends the Paralympic Team Belgium to the Summer and Winter Games, providing athletes the chance to excel and inspire Belgian society. Fonds Gehandicaptensport helps people with disabilities engage in local sports, making sports a natural part of their lives, and runs initiatives like (s)Cool On Wheels.?
