This summer, Pyramid Systems encouraged employees to prioritize their health through the "Smiles for Miles" fitness challenge.?From June through August 2024, participants set personal fitness goals and then tracked their daily steps or miles to work towards their personal goal.? Employees that logged their steps clocked an impressive 9,078,349 steps over the three-month period, while participants who tracked miles covered a total of 1,304 miles. Together, they traveled a distance equivalent to crossing the U.S. twice (with a bit of detour), showcasing the team’s incredible commitment to staying active! We are thrilled to announce that Pyramid Systems has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide operations, maintenance, and enhancement support for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Food Delivery Portal (FDP). This award re-establishes our long-standing partnership with the USDA. Lightning never strikes twice in the same place... unless you work at Pyramid Systems! Pyramid Cares, our philanthropic charitable group, recently hosted the second annual Lightning Talk. This virtual event allows participating employees to give a 5-minute informal presentation to practice their public speaking skills and represent their favorite nonprofit for a chance to win a $5,000 donation on behalf of Pyramid. At this year's event, we had 7 compassionate speakers and 40 attendees. Congratulations to Devin Brewer, PMP for his speech, which secured a $5,000 donation to So What Else.
