Mike Rogers and Mobile-based Rogers & Willard, Inc. have recently completed the new Caliber Collision location in Daphne, AL. ?? Auburn-based Bailey-Harris Construction Co. Inc. is hard at work on a major addition for East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, adding 3 floors to the West Pavilion. ?? Dothan-based Hollis & Spann, Inc. is working on the new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Montgomery for RAM Hotels. Great, long-time partnership for those guys. ?? Robins & Morton is working on another great healthcare project, this one the Carilion Clinic Cancer Center in Roanoke. ?? Memphis-based Walker General Contractors is bringing a new Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc. to Olive Branch, MS. ?? Congrats to Decatur-based Fite Building Company on being awarded the new Bank Independent stadium project for the University of North Alabama. Exciting times in Florence, Alabama! ?? Proud of Birmingham-based Hoar Construction on finishing up the big-time renovation of The University of the South's School of Theology building in Sewanee, TN. ?? CONGRATS to Billy Harbert of B.L. Harbert International LLC. on being elected to Emory University's Board of Trustees. ?? Woodward Design+Build has the new 7-story residence hall at Loyola University New Orleans on schedule for a Fall 2025 opening. ?? T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. is working on renovations at Brentwood United Methodist Church outside Nashville. ?? DECEMBER 2nd: AGC East Tennessee's annual Christmas Party at Parkside Hall in Chattanooga. ?? DECEMBER 16th: Come out to the Birmingham Zoo for the Alabama AGC's Christmas at the Zoo! ?? Our friends at Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) produced this rendering of our upcoming project for the Junior Achievement of Alabama, the McWane Economic Education Center in downtown Birmingham. Junior Achievement of Alabama is bringing an immersive, hands-on learning experience to students across central Alabama. The nonprofit officially launched its $20 million capital campaign to fund the construction of the McWane Economic Education Center in downtown Birmingham. The 28,000-square-foot facility will feature two learning labs— JA BizTown and JA Finance Park – both known as JA Capstone Programs. The programs combine classroom curriculum with a hands-on experiential site visit, during which students and teachers visit the facilities for a day-long simulation as the culmination of their preparatory classroom curriculum. The new facility will focus on preparing students with the skills they need to be successful by teaching financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship while also giving students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to practice what they’ve learned in the classroom. Project partners include GMC, providing architecture; Lemoine, the program manager; Pylon Building Group, the general contractor; and Tucker-Jones Engineers Associates, P.C., the structural engineer. #Pylon #PylonBuildingGroup #PylonBuilds
