How PWPvideo spent Sunday and Monday.
Filmmaker for nonprofits and sustainable businesses. Founder of PWPvideo. NOT a visionary or thought leader.
I had this crazy idea. Our client Pitcairn moved into these beautiful new offices in Conshy, and then they were inviting their clients from around the country to the Rittenhouse Hotel for an event. "Hey, let's bring the office to the hotel?" And so we did, and here's the email I received this morning: Hi PWP Team,? Thank you for all your support, creativity, and attention to detail with our 2024 Forum! Everything looked and sounded awesome! Thank you for being a huge part of our Pitcairn experience.? With gratitude, Laura I have so much gratitude to the whole team at Pitcairn, but Laura Kremp is the kind person behind that note. But the whole company is full of people who truly get what it means to partner on a project. I am very lucky to work with them. (Thanks Jared Trexler for bringing me into the fold) And we couldn't have pulled off the background plates and videos without PWPvideo DP Dave Lamm, Gaffer David Lowe, Aaron Vandeweerd and Christopher Marston. The room wouldn't have played without the team from IMS Technology Services and Matt Martin's awesome sound skills.

On Monday I was working to use our business as a force for good. On Tuesday I was a poll worker. On Wednesday I am working to use PWPvideo as a force for good. I plan to do the same tomorrow and the next day.
A message from B Local Philadelphia Chair Michael Schweisheimer I know we have business leaders in our local who will be thinking, as I am this morning, about how our work as B Corps becomes even more critical given the results from yesterday. I was messaging with my team that what we do at PWPvideo, and how we do it as a B Corp, becomes even more vital. And if we're going to spend a third of our lives working, it is good we can work together on shared commitments to effect change. That work might have been easier with a different result, but the exigency to save the planet isn't actually different this morning, just harder. B Lab U.S. & Canada B Lab

We've been privileged to help share many stories of the survivors of domestic violence in our work at PWPvideo. Our MISSION Story Slam project has also helped to amplify the voices of survivors, share their stories, and create awareness of the work that needs to be done. Many thanks to Jennifer Gardella, PhD for sharing her story and our other storytellers who have shared their stories of survival over 6 years and 10 stay slams. Hear more at www.missionstoryslam.org.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month is coming to a close but we would like to continue the conversation with The MISSION Story Slam Podcast featuring Jennifer Gardella, PhD. Dr. Jen won the Crowd Favorite Prize and $100 for A Woman's Place with her story of surviving and thriving after experiencing domestic violence. You can download or stream The MISSION Story Slam Podcast at www.missionstoryslam.org or subscribe wherever finer podcasts drop.
