COOL TOOLS. This electric-powered pipe bender can transform a 2” piece of conduit into a 90’ turn in 20 seconds. When Putzel is wiring new commercial or healthcare facilities, electric benders create precise bends in conduit runs. During renovations or electrical upgrades in existing spaces, these benders help modify conduit layouts. Electric benders are versatile and efficient allowing precise control over bending angles, which is crucial for meeting safety standards and code requirements in advanced projects. Meet Bert. When you express an interest in joining the Putzel Electrical Contractors team, Bert is the first person you will meet. He’s the real deal! Starting as an apprentice, Bert finished a four-year program in just two years and was running a service truck solo in his second year of apprenticeship. Thirty-eight years later, he’s our Director of Field Operations and a proud co-owner of the company. His success story with us shows what is possible at Putzel with hard work, dedication and the willingness to learn.
