Dear EPNS community, friends, & builders ?? Today we have an exciting announcement. EPNS is rebranding to Push Protocol! The announcement is the first step towards a multi-chain communication future — allowing Push Protocol to be the communication platform of web3. Two years ago, we started building EPNS with the initial scope of enabling push notifications on Ethereum. Since launching in January 2022, the protocol has powered: ?? 17 million notifications ?? 100 channels ?? 60k subscribers Now, built upon nearly a year of proven success and adoption of web3 communication, Push Protocol is excited to pioneer the next wave of adoption through communication that is both multi-chain and generalized. ?? The rebrand sets the stage for Push Protocol to move beyond Ethereum and beyond push notifications, enabling all forms of communication such as messaging, video, streaming, ads, chat, and more across any L1 or L2. ???? The announcement of Push Protocol does not impact the existing notifications, channels, or subscribers that have been launched or onboarded to EPNS in the past year. These users will continue to enjoy push notifications, just under a new brand. Additionally, the $PUSH token will remain the only native token of the protocol, continuing to help power the network and reward users and holders. To all the supporters, builders, community members, users, and advisors, who have been with us at any point since 2020 - thank you! ???? The future we imagine - and the one we’ve already started building - is one in which the web3 user experience is as seamless and intuitive as what we’ve grown used to in web2. ??
