We were proud to take part in this event yesterday and congratulate everyone involved in the opening of the manufacturing center!
Today, CT State Capital held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their new manufacturing center on campus. The state-of-the-art, 2,800-square-foot space includes a classroom, office area, and a room for hands-on machine training. The center addresses Connecticut's growing workforce development needs by offering a seven-week training program that leads to industry-recognized certificates and provides pathways to in-demand manufacturing careers.? ? Thank you to Jacqueline Gallo, Executive Vice President of Operations and Shared Services at Pursuit Aerospace, for your ongoing support of the program. This is a testament of our Internship program at Pursuit 2024.
As the summer comes to a close, so does my internship with Pursuit Aerospace I want to extend my deepest thanks to Nick Ohannessian for giving me this incredible opportunity. My heartfelt gratitude also goes to David Francis and Salvatore DiMauro for their invaluable mentorship throughout this journey. With their combined experience of over 40 years in engineering, I couldn’t have asked for better mentors. This summer, I had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, including modeling, drafting, and developing processes for complex sheet metal parts, reverse engineering tooling fixtures, and designing new fixtures for existing machines. Under the guidance of Sal and David, I gained hands-on experience in sheet metal processes, flowlines, toolmaking, fixture design, GD&T, and the meticulous attention to detail required in engineering. All while learning teamwork, effective communication, and most crucially, humility. Combining these hard and soft skills is what makes you a great engineer. #AlwaysPursuing

This award honors suppliers who rank in the top percentile of the RTX supply base, celebrating only the highest achievers.
