It was great to connect with many friends at the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) CEO Seminar in Cancun this week! Mark Herbick, CEO & Founder of Pursant, spoke on "M&A Is On The Minds of Many Business Owners, But Most Don’t Have An Exit Strategy?". During the session, he covered the state of M&A in the middle market and BSC sector. He also shared thoughts on how to: ?? We are delighted to announce that Debra Fine is joining the Pursant family as a Managing Director! Debra brings a wealth of knowledge in M&A, raising capital, brand equity evaluation, and marketing. In her new role, she will be supporting Pursant’s M&A practice and growth initiatives. She began her career at Marketing Corporation of America, where she advised Fortune 500 clients such as Kraft, Quaker, American Express, and Pepsi on growing market share and brand equity. She later became the Head of Marketing and Licensing for Disney Online. As a three-time CEO, most recently as the CEO for Small World Kids, she took the company public and acquired several electronic learning companies and additional Infant, Toddler and Pre-School companies. She grew global distribution and worked with over 100 factories to create and manufacture the company’s 3,000 SKUs of premium children’s products. She has extensive strategic transaction expertise in several consumer products sectors including, Skin, Haircare, Beauty, Retail, Edtech, and Children’s/Mom’s products and services. Debra is also actively involved in numerous leadership roles for YPO (Young President’s Organization), including Chairperson for YPO Pacific Chapter, and Chairperson for the Deal Network, a global dealmaking network focusing on raising capital, M&A, and preparing a company for a liquidity event.
