Let us re-introduce ourselves… We are Pure Praxis, and we’re on a mission to cultivate a butterfly effect of positive change through the profound power of storytelling - one person, one action, one community at a time. We provide a variety of workshops for workplaces and school campuses that replace traditional lectures, making the training more impactful and memorable. At the core, we are a social theater group focused on cultural change through interactive training sessions. Our process involves scripting realistic scenarios based on your needs. These scenarios are performed by our actors, who seamlessly blend humor and seriousness. We then turn the training over to the audience to analyze the scenario, engage, and suggest intervention strategies. CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF PURE PRAXIS! A decade of impact. A decade of storytelling. A decade of changing minds and sparking conversations. For 10 years, Pure Praxis has been redefining social justice training through interactive theatre, challenging audiences to not just hear the message—but feel it. From military bases to universities, corporate offices to international stages, our team has traveled the world, using performance to break barriers, ignite discussions, and drive meaningful change. With over 150 unique scripts, our performances tackle the tough conversations—sometimes met with resistance, sometimes met with raw emotion—but always with the goal of making a difference. Through humor, vulnerability, and lived experience, we’ve created a space where real change begins. We’ve celebrated milestones, faced challenges, and adapted through it all—including navigating a global pandemic that nearly halted live performance. But we came back stronger, more determined than ever. Praxis—the connection between theory and practice—became the foundation of everything we do. Every show, every moment, every lesson learned is a reflection of that core belief. ? Looking back on an incredible experience ?— Pure Praxis had the honor of presenting at the @sexedcenter 2024 National Sex Ed Conference in Philadelphia this past December! This was our company’s second conference of 2024 and our first invite to this national event…. we couldn’t have been more grateful for the opportunity. Huge thanks to the passionate educators and activists in the sexual education space who joined us and contributed to this impactful experience and the debut of our new intimate partner violence workshop. As 2024 came to a close, Pure Praxis wrapped up the year with training at Joint Base Lewis-McChord engaging nearly 300 military members! Our interactive workshop focused on sexual assault prevention and the continuum of harm, creating a dynamic space for participants to reflect, engage, and learn. We are honored to partner with our military communities in addressing such critical topics, empowering individuals to identify harmful behaviors and take action toward creating safer environments. Thank you to everyone who participated those who dedicated their time to make this training possible. We are beyond grateful to have closed the year out with meaningful impact!

A huge shoutout to the amazing team at JRTC and Fort Johnson for their hospitality and enthusiasm during our visit! It was an honor to train with the incredible soldiers on post and witness their enthusiasm and dedication to fostering a safer, stronger community. This partnership began after their SHARP office attended our sexual assault prevention workshop at the NOVA conference last August. 2024 was an incredible year for Pure Praxis! ?????? We brought on amazing new clients, signed exciting touring contracts, traveled domestically and internationally, and welcomed a whole new cycle of talented Pure Praxis Advocates to our team. Together, we trained an astounding 11,431 individuals, empowering change and fostering safer, more inclusive spaces. Pure Praxis was hosted yet again by California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and Windward School for deep discussions about intimate partner violence and consent during Domestic Violence Prevention month. It was a pleasure to work with these student bodies. In addition, Kirby School collaborated with our team to facilitate Grooming Prevention and Identification training with their 6-12th students.
