Dinner is served! Many members of the team spent Friday afternoon preparing dinner at the Ronald McDonald House (Durham) for their residents. We worked together to cook chicken quesadillas with rice, beans, chips, and cookies for the 60+ people who needed dinner that evening. A special thanks to Clay Ragan and his team at RMHC-Durham for being so great to work with and creating an incredible atmosphere for the families who come to stay at the House. The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) aim to assist families all over the world with obtaining medical care and resources. The branch of RMHC that PWS had the opportunity to serve last week aims to provide families of pediatric patients who travel in from out-of-town to be at Duke University Hospital. They provide these families with food and housing free of charge while they are in Durham, so that they can focus on getting the medical care necessary for their children.
