The Office of Professional Practice is making the most of spring break with three incredible trips to Silicon Valley, Ireland, and Washington, D.C.—giving students hands-on learning, networking opportunities, and unforgettable cultural experiences! ?? Silicon Valley & the Tech Industry ?? 30 students are exploring the heart of Silicon Valley, visiting top companies like Tesla, ASML, Apple, and Bloom Energy to dive into cutting-edge technologies. Along with networking and company visits, students have also visited nearby Muir Woods, Marin Headlands, and the Golden Gate Bridge. ???? Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Ireland ?? 18 students are immersing themselves in Ireland’s rich history and culture, while also exploring one of the largest hubs of pharmaceutical manufacturing in the world. Along with cultural visits to Glasnevin Cemetery, the National Museum of Ireland, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin, students also completed training at NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training to learn more about biopharmaceuticals and the future of medicine. ??? Public Service in Washington, D.C. ???? 15 students are exploring our nation’s capital—touring the National Mall, the U.S. Capitol, and the National Air and Space Museum—while connecting with Microsoft, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and NobleReach?? to learn about careers in public service.
