#NationalSafetyMonth Puraglobe's approach to Safety with Elizabeth (Lizie) Nguyen - Product Manager.

June is National Safety Month. Since 1996, June has been designated #NationalSafetyMonth to bring more awareness of the importance of workplace safety. #Puraglobe has maintained a #safeworkplace for the past 4 years with the assistance of all employees. At the #PortofTampa, the Puraglobe facility is home to over 25 employees who all play crucial roles in keeping themselves and team members safe. We do this by completing #safetyobservations, mandatory and voluntary training, and removing any obstacles that pose a risk to our team. Congratulations Puraglobe team members for reaching this milestone of 4 years of SAFE WORK!?

Excited and happy to share another woman in leadership sharing her story of success. Lisa Smith is a powerhouse for Puraglobe! Although #Womenshistorymonth has ended, it is never too late to #celebrate those who #lead with a good heart and #collaborating with others. Thank you Lisa for letting us share your story! ____________________________________ Growing up, I was surrounded by strong #independentwomen, and led by my grandmother, mom, and aunts. They showed me the power of working hard, constant learning, being curious and independent, and having a #goodheart will lead you to have a fulfilling life. This pushed me to crash the boundaries and to live by “the sky’s the limit truly.”?After being the first in my family to graduate from college, my accounting career has taken me worldwide. Now, I instilled these same principles in my daughter, who with all the adversities she has faced, is living her dream as a happy, independent young woman who is attending SCAD and studying her passion for Illustration. ? My journey has led me to Puraglobe, where I continue my love of #accounting while working for a company that fosters my beliefs in innovation and sustainability. More importantly, I have the privilege of #collaborating with an amazing team especially the strong independent women and their stories which inspire and remind me always to push the boundaries.?
