Intuition (P3 with Chris Jankulovski) This week, we dive into an extraordinary conversation about intuition, resilience, and the human spirit's ability to navigate life’s toughest moments. In this powerful clip from our latest podcast episode, we explore the role of intuition—not as a faint whisper, but as a survival compass guiding us through life’s most pressing challenges: "Your body can become a vessel to receive intuition. When you're always fighting for your life, intuition is loud: 'Go to Erika. Save yourself. Watch out for the bus.' But it’s not just about listening—it’s about taking that first step, and then the next." #Podcast #Storytelling #Resilience #Intuition #PURProduction

Our MD and founder, Patrick Beggs has been running again and recently shared a reflection that cuts through the noise of today’s hustle-driven world. It’s not about working harder; it’s about working smarter and more meaningfully. Here’s the standout thought: "Before you double down on being 'laser-focused,' pause. What are you focusing on? Why does it matter? The narratives we cling to shape everything—our decisions, our goals, and even how we see ourselves. So, let’s make sure we’re telling the right story." At PUR Production, this philosophy drives everything we do. Our Capabilities is built on the idea of turning insights into assets—helping organisations rewrite their stories into engaging, impactful narratives that connect deeply with their audiences. From distilling complex ideas into captivating content to designing interactive learning experiences, we specialise in helping brands shift from "busy" to "bold." 2025 is just around the corner. Are you sprinting toward something meaningful—or just running in circles? Let’s rewrite the story together. Get in touch to see how we’re helping clients focus on what really moves the needle. #Leadership #Storytelling #Clarity #PURProduction #CEOThoughts
Shifting Through the Noise to Focus We live in a world that worships hustle and "focus," yet most of us are aiming at... what, exactly? Before you double down on being "laser-focused," pause. What are you focusing on? Why does it matter? The narratives we cling to—about ourselves, our work, and our goals—are powerful. They drive decisions, define priorities, and shape how we’re seen. But here’s the thing: they’re often outdated, shallow, or just plain wrong. If you’re serious about cutting through the noise and making real progress, it’s time to edit the story. Here’s how: 1. Kill the Lies You Tell Yourself:?Your internal narrative is either a tailwind or an anchor. Identify the junk you’ve been feeding yourself (I’m not ready, I need permission, etc.) and rewrite it. No one’s coming to fix this but you. 2. Stop Mumbling, Start Messaging:?Your story isn’t just for you—it’s for everyone you want to influence. Communicate like it matters, because it does. Inspire confidence, and be as clear as a Swiss watch. 3. Trade Busy for Bold:?Forget urgency. Focus on what moves the needle. Five years from now, what will still matter? Spend your energy there. 4. Redefine Winning:?More is not the goal. Better is. Define success in a way that aligns with your values, not someone else’s highlight reel. The bottom line: where you focus and how you frame it will determine where you end up. 2025 is around the corner. Are you sprinting in the right direction—or just running in circles? What’s the story you’re telling yourself today? Better yet, how will you rewrite it to get where you want to go? Let’s hear it. #Leadership #Clarity #NarrativeStrategy

The Diagnosis (Part 1 of a Mini-Series by PUR Production) At PUR Production, we believe storytelling is a powerful medium for transformation, and few stories embody that transformation better than Chris Jankulovski’s. In this first chapter, we take viewers to the moment that changed everything for Chris. At just 19, he was diagnosed with von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that came with a grim prognosis: he might only have until 30. This isn’t just a story about survival; it’s about redefining life on his terms. Chris’s journey — and what we’re sharing with you — is about his “Hope Amplifier” approach, a unique combination of gratitude, purpose, and sheer determination to live fully. This approach didn’t just keep him going; it fueled his transformation from a struggling entrepreneur into a purpose-driven leader who taps into intuition and resilience to overcome both personal and professional challenges. At PUR Production, our goal is to amplify stories that aren’t just inspiring but serve as roadmaps for real-world resilience and growth. In Part 2, we’ll continue to follow Chris’s journey and unpack the power of purpose, both in life and in business.

The trauma-informed training modules we created for Department of Social Services (DSS) with PUR Production are voiced by our own Willhemina Wahlin. In our recent newsletter, Willie shared how she ended up being the voice behind these animations. It's not a short explanation but there is so much that went into this project and Willie conveys it beautifully: "The DSS project is a pretty special one and I will forever be?just a bit?proud to have voiced the animations. A really important part of our work is to learn from people with lived experience. I think I speak for everyone on our team when I say we care?A LOT?about how we translate people's lived experience into authentic and respectful designs. This includes every aspect of that design work - including voiceovers, in this case. ? "The foundation for the animations came from everything we had learned from people lived experience of forced adoption and the project Advisory Group. We worked with our project partners, PUR Productions, to develop the scripts and create characters that represent the broad experience of forced adoption. The narrative of the animations helps to explain the history of forced adoption and how the trauma of it might show up for people today. The voices of all the people we spoke to were so present during the entire process, so it just kind of made sense that we should keep carrying this through into the voiceovers. We had become such passionate advocates of lived experience through the work, so we wanted make sure every element could be as authentic and compassionate as possible. I have had some experience in theatre and radio broadcasting, so it wasn't a completely terrifying concept to do voiceover work, but I definitely knew this was a next level thing to do! ? "It definitely helped to have the full support of our team, PUR and DSS as well. It was an amazing experience to come full circle with the scripts, but also to feel like all of the people we had learned from were there in the studio with me."

Insightful conversation between Derek McCormack and Patrick Beggs. While the essence of parenting remains unchanged, the way parents seek support is evolving. Derek shares valuable perspectives, building on the Parenting Research Centre's incredible work and extensive data insights. Check out the full conversation in the link below
Has Parenting changed? I sat down with Derek McCormack from the Parenting Research Centre to find out the answer. What I found was surprising, parenting hasn't but rather where parents are going to look for help and how they look for help has changed.
