We are thrilled to have successfully concluded our webinar on 'Unlock Your Potential: Navigating Law School' with the remarkable Adv. Dhruv Srivastava The session was interactive and touched on the common challenges faced by law students, both during their time in college and beyond. It was inspiring to see such enthusiastic participation from all batches, as we explored some of the most important questions surrounding the life of a law student. Adv. Dhruv’s journey was nothing short of motivational—from his exceptional experience with landmark judgment to his personal insights. His story resonated deeply, shedding light on the path for many aspiring legal professionals. The feedback we received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re grateful to Adv. Dhruv and everyone who attended. A special thanks to our Events Head PRINI DATTA, our wonderful moderator Payal Bhardwaj and Sukhman Kapoor , and to Sanskriti Koul and Chahat Sethi who worked behind the scenes to lay the foundation for this session. Thanks to all???

We are delighted to share that the PLRC recently participated in the National Policy Debate Session organized by the National Legal Rights Consortium on 28th-29th September 2024. This engaging event brought forward compelling discussions on the National Menstrual Leave Policy, with PLRC proudly represented by our members. Our team took a stance in favor of the National Menstrual Leave Policy, advocating for the importance of acknowledging and addressing the unique health challenges faced by women in the workplace. Our amazing team members Anureet Kaur and @Sneha engaged in a thought-provoking debate with the Maharashtra Legal Rights Consortium, who represented the opposing side and with Tamil Nadu Legal Rights Consortium, we put forth the policy advocating for menstrual leave presented by Gagandeep kaur . It was an enriching experience that fostered insightful exchanges on a critical issue affecting women's rights and workplace equality. We extend our heartfelt thanks to NLRC-WICCI for organizing this important debate. We are thankful to our team member Chahat Sethi who guided other team members for this debate at every step and appreciate the efforts of our team members Payal Bhardwaj , Sukhman Kapoor and PRINI DATTA who played a crucial role in the drafting of the menstrual leave policy. These conversations are vital in shaping policies that promote inclusivity and gender equity. At PLRC, we believe that a well-structured Menstrual Leave Policy is a step towards creating a more empathetic and supportive work environment. We encourage continued discussions and stakeholder engagement to ensure that such policies are practical, non-discriminatory, and empower women across all sectors.
