We are proud to have designed the new Citizens Memorial Hospital Dialysis Center in Bolivar, Missouri. Every year prior to the DBIA National Conference all Region Leaders (14) gather for the day to share ideas and work to help grow Design-Build. MAR President Matt Meier addressed the group sharing our successes through the years. The Conference started off sharing the association 2025-2027 Strategic Goals. Congratulations to?Allison Kelly, AIA, NCARB, EDAC,?Architectural Associate at Pulse Design Group, for earning her architectural license! Allison joined Pulse Design Group as an intern and became a full-time employee after graduating from The University of Kansas School of Architecture in the?Health and Wellness program. Reflecting on her journey, Allison shared: "Starting my career, I was unsure if licensure was a path I would take, but after working alongside the talented and passionate leaders at Pulse Design Group, I was inspired to begin. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’m grateful for the support that helped get me here. Congratulations to Pulse Design Group Principal, Basil Sherman II, AIA, NCARB, EDAC, ACHA, for receiving a Distinguished Alumni Award from The University of Kansas. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding leadership and professional merit in the design and architecture professions. Reflecting on the award, Basil shared: "This award means so much to me. Growing up, even as my potential career targets changed, I always knew I wanted to be a Jayhawk. When I decided to become an architect, it was with the goal of truly making a difference in the world through my work and my art. To now be recognized by my school for outstanding impact and leadership is validation of everything I have done and the difference I have and can continue to make." I am truly grateful for the incredible opportunity to participate in the Pioneer IQ Leadership Bootcamp last week. It was an enriching experience, filled with invaluable lessons that will undoubtedly shape my professional growth.
