To achieve this objective, PRITS solicits proposals from qualified Proponents to provide expert support in implementing robust cybersecurity practices, controls, and training programs. The Service Contract Opportunity Notice (SCON) aims to attract Proponents with the necessary experience, technical skills, and expertise to collaborate with PRITS and its stakeholders to achieve a cohesive and unified approach to bolstering the government’s overall cybersecurity resilience. PRITS looks forward to implementing comprehensive cybersecurity measures, fostering a cyber-aware organizational culture, and ensuring uninterrupted government operations amidst evolving cyber threats. Proponents are encouraged to align their proposals to the scope of services and deliverables this SCON outlines. With a career spanning decades in telecommunications, infrastructure, and system design, Clausell will be helping our agency and it’s CIIO Antonio J Ramos Guardiola, with the current and on-going technological vision and digital transformation of Puerto Rico, oversee the government’s technology infrastructure, and administer network efficiencies that contribute to a more agile, responsive, and cost-effective telecommunications environment, benefiting both public servants and citizens alike. PRITS is confident Clausell, as CTO and Deputy Director, will propel us forward in delivering innovative solutions for Puerto Rico.

This investment will provide reliable, affordable high-speed Internet and essential digital skills to every sector of Puerto Rico. As Puerto Rico’s CIIO (Antonio J Ramos Guardiola) and Vice-president of the executive committee of PRBP, I can vouch for the tremendous effort this team has shown to overcome multiple challenges and ultimately turn this expectation into a reality. Without a doubt, this funding will be a crucial step for the digital transformation of Puerto Rico, and the increased participation of both Puertorrican citizens and businesses in the cyber-economy. This funding will further the digital evolution of Puerto Rico, spark innovation, enhance cybersecurity, and allow for the creation of educational programs for all, creating a profound effect in the access to this valuable resource. High-speed internet is crucial for Puerto Rico’s future, and permitting us to build a more connected, secure, and resilient island community.
