Ever feel like your funders don't really understand the needs of your nonprofit? I hear that a lot, and the pressure many feel to impress donors with creative "new" ideas, outside of their fundamental operating costs. That scenario made this week's episode of the Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership podcast so refreshing. Tara Townsend and Carlos Hernandez have developed their funder-leader relationship through the wonderful Cultural Treasures program in Chicago. Check out this clip of Carlos sharing the challenges he often faces, and learn more from the full episode when it's released Thursday. This is the kind of donor relationship you need in your community! #nonprofitleadership #nonproftpodcasts #leadershipdevelopment
