Over the past week, Public Works Partners had the privilege of connecting with residents at the The Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market (The TaSH) and a public meeting at the Tarrytown Senior Center to discuss the Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow Traffic Safety Study. At the farmer’s market, we spoke with community members about traffic safety concerns and shared insights from our Safe Streets for All project—an initiative aimed at preventing serious injuries and fatalities from crashes. During the public meeting, local leaders, school officials, and residents came together to review preliminary findings, discuss priorities, and explore solutions for safer streets. Attendees provided valuable input at interactive stations, helping shape the next steps of this critical initiative.
