The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mrs Olubusola Abidakun MCIPM, HRPL, FITD, CPC, PSLC, MCDI delivered a significant address at the Year 2025 Revised Structured Training Programme (RSTP) held at the Public Service Staff Development Centre PSSDC Magodo This initiative aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of Lagos State's civil servants. As the head of the Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mrs Abidakun plays a crucial role in shaping the training programme, focusing on planning, devising, and implementing state policies on establishments, training, and pensions. Her commitment to fostering a well-trained and efficient civil service is commendable, and her leadership contributes significantly to human capital development, career advancement, and retirement in Lagos State. PSSDC COLLABORATES WITH LASODA In a bid to promote inclusive and effective public service delivery in Lagos State, the Public Service Staff Development Centre PSSDC Magodo has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Lasoda Lagos disability affairs to improve on the quality of service delivery for LASODA's staff. The Director-General of PSSDC, Mr. Adekunmilola Adio-Moses stated this during a courtesy visit by the LASODA team to PSSDC. He added that, the Agency has created courses in its brochure to support people with disabilities which included 'Braille literacy and empowerment programmes' . He posited that, a Directorate of Gender Development and Special Duties was created to cater for special people to promote social inclusion, gender development and youth engagement, in line with the State's THEMES Plus Agenda. Earlier, the General Manager of LASODA, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, noted that, the aim of the visit was to integrate the curriculum for people living with disabilities into PSSDC's training programmes. According to her, people with disabilities encompasses not only physical but also intellectual disabilities and both areas would be covered in the training. LASODA, she said, was open to training the trainers on how to engage with people living with disabilities which would bring about improved quality service delivery. Meet Babajide Arulogun (MRA, MITD, PhD in View), Head, Digital Learning Department, PSSDC! About Babajide Arulogun Babajide Arulogun is a multi-award-winning Learning and Development professional. He has authored 25 courses and 40 interdisciplinary research works. Academic Credentials His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Planning, and a PhD in view. Professional Contributions As a faculty member and Head of Digital Learning Department in PSSDC, Babajide has made significant contributions to the agency's mission. Notably, he coordinated the digitization of courses for EKOLearn and established the PSSDC Learning Production Studio. Similarly, he is co-founder of Eco-Learn Nigeria, an environmental sustainability project initiated by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in partnership with the Lagos State Government.
