PTY Custom Lighting

Last week, we had the pleasure to be invited to a gorgeous wedding in Panama. The wedding was held at the Sofitel Legend, a 5-star resort located at the heart of the historic Casco Viejo (The 'Old City') district of Panama City. This district was the first area in Panama to be industrialized, a staging ground for investors the world over to develop new businesses and some of Panama's finest hotels to date. These days, it has been enshrined as a historical site by?UNESCO World Heritage. PTY was fortunate enough to work on the Sofitel, providing a full lighting package for the guestrooms?and public areas. It was an absolute treat to be able to see the lighting in-person again after so many years, and a long vacation at the Sofitel Legend is always a privilege. It's always a pleasure to sponsor an industry event, and the NEWH Golf Outing for the Washington DC chapter is one of my favorites! Had a great time playing on the green alongside Kimberly Sullivan, Stephen Paczkowski and Sean Nemec. And as always, it's great to see new and familiar faces again. It was fun catching up and having drinks together. Can't wait to see you all again at BDNY!?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting the construction site of one of the biggest projects that PTY is working?on this year! And today, I am excited to share a sneak peek of the Pier 66 Luxury Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. A full-service,?5-star sea-side destination, I have no doubt it will be the biggest grand opening in 2025. A big thanks to Tavistock and The Parker Company for entrusting us with their massive custom lighting designs, and of course as always, it is a pleasure working alongside Jeffrey Beers International to bring their creations to life, as well as Thunder Electrical Contractors Inc. for their great work in assembling and installation. I'm incredibly excited for the grand opening and for everyone to get a chance to see these incredible, large-scale installations in-person! We had a fantastic time attending the NEWH TopID & Scholarships awards this year. As always, it is great being able to see so many familiar and new faces. I wanted to congratulate the scholarship winners this year- Paige Lotta, MacKenzie Beyer and Whitney Holland. Very talented and promising students! I also wanted to give my congratulations to this years' TopID Award winners- OZ Architecture, FAM Design and Shalls Design Studio. Their submissions were all gorgeous, very well-deserved!
