A once-in-a-lifetime talent, Felix rose to fame and notoriety after making the Team USA Olympic Track and Field team for the 2004 Olympic Games at just 18 years old. With an impressive career of 11 Olympic Medals and 20 World Championships, Felix is cemented in history as the most decorated Track and Field athlete. Along with her impressive career on the track, Felix's work off the track is just as important. Known for her daring speed and bold fashion statements both on and off the track, Florence Griffith-Joyner (commonly known as 'Flo-Jo') is one of the most iconic figures in both sports and Track and Field history. Rose Sibley Simmons was the first Black circuit clerk of @Bolivar County post-Reconstruction. She played a pivotal role in breaking down racial barriers in Mississippi. Simmons's integrity and dedication paved the way for future generations. She influenced her husband, Willie Simmons. He became Mississippi's first Black state senator post-Reconstruction and its first Black transportation commissioner. The couple saw their daughter, Sarita Simmons, also became a state senator, marking a historic milestone. Rose Sibley Simmons's legacy continues to inspire progress and equality in Mississippi.

For Day 3 of our #WomensHistoryMonth celebration, we highlight WNBA Superstar A'ja Wilson. Standing tall as one of the leading players of the WNBA today, A'ja Wilson has quickly become one of the most decorated players in the league. A proud alumni of the University of South Carolina, where WNBA legend Dawn Staley coached her, Wilson captured the eyes and hearts of fans all over the globe with her talents on the court. By the time she finished in South Carolina, Wilson was the school's all-time leading scorer, leading the Gamecocks to an NCAA championship in 2017. She holds records for career points (2,389), blocked shots (363), and blocked shot average (2.6). Since being drafted in the WNBA, Wilson has slowed down whatsoever.
