PTI was thrilled to contribute to the 2024 Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA) Big Ideas in Self Storage auction, benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children! We donated a comprehensive access control package featuring the latest in smart technology, including the PTI Cloud Controller, StorLogix Cloud software, AP1 keypads, and ProEdge smart latches. This package went to the lucky winner, Jeanne Dube, at Solid Ground Storage in Elgin, TX. To top it all off, PTI covered her first year of subscription fees! All auction proceeds directly support the creation of a Quiet Early Mobility Room at Shriners' Galveston hospital. DYK: Tenants don’t need a smartphone to utilize ProEdge on their unit? PTI’s ProEdge smart latch is usually locked and unlocked using the StorID tenant-facing mobile application. However, for tenants who either do not have a smartphone or do not want to use one, ProEdge still allows them to access their units if Phoneless Mode is enabled. To provide tenants ProEdge this special access, operators will find the specific tenant in StorLogix Cloud, and, under “Status,” check the box “Phoneless Mode Enabled.” Once the tenant’s status has been edited, they can enter their access code at the gate as usual and then simply press the button on the smart latch at their unit to enter. ??
