We are proud to welcome Robert Carlson as our new Director of Development for Analysis and Strategy in University Advancement. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Liberal Arts degree at Johns Hopkins University. He also earned certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Villanova University. He is a U.S. Marine who served on active duty for more than nine years, and has extensive experience in public affairs, communications, marketing, development, and advancement in the public and private sectors. In his new role, Robert is dedicated to developing expansive strategies for using data to identify potential financial support opportunities for Pitt State, and performing statistical analyses and predictive modeling to identify new and existing opportunities from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Fun Fact: Robert enjoys reading, climbing and hiking with his wife and two daughters, and is a novice Japanese speaker. He enjoys volunteering in his community, and serves on the boards of the Will Norton Miracle Baseball League and the Rotary Club in Joplin. We are excited to have Robert on board. Welcome!
