From 2017 to 2023, surge protective devices underwent major changes in the requirements set by the National Electrical Code. These updated requirements ensure that critical areas are protected from power surges, which can cause electronic equipment misoperation and damage, potentially leading to safety risks. Surge protective devices protect against damage, downtime, and lost revenue to keep critical infrastructure and our economy running smoothly. Power surges can happen in a commercial facility without you knowing. Surges can manifest themselves as circuit board failure, lighting failure, drive or motor tripping, or phantom equipment restart.

Many companies don't know that #RXT transfer switches don't communicate with each other right out of the box. In fact, they'll mistakenly order two 200A RXT switches for a 400A service, expecting them to work together, only to discover they won't function without our KTSE devices. The KTSE-1 and KTSE-3 allow multiple RXT transfer switches to operate together on the same service, offering a much more cost-effective solution than using a single 400A RXT.
