As we approach ISC West and what feels like a landslide of change for the physical security industry, the conversations around AI and Security are setting a new tone. AI and Security go hand-in-hand. You cannot have a conversation without talking about both. I recently penned an article for the March issue of Security Journal Americas (SJA) titled "Trust as the new Threat Vector". Last year at ISC West I brought together Cybersecurity leaders to discuss AI and more importantly securing AI. Malcolm Harkins said "Trust is the new threat vector". This has stayed in my brain ever since and the word "Trust" in everything we do brings a new meaning. Our discussion was eye opening to the audience and the additional risk that AI brings to the table is very deep. While I personally am excited about AI, I also think about how it's secured and how the bad guys are using it, especially at the edge.
